Loans and Incentives

Believe it or not, the Government is giving interest free loans on projects that save businesses on their energy costs.  Of course it isn’t straight forward.  But is there any Government department that doesn’t have red tape?

Domestic, Charitable and some other residential homes (conditions apply) can gain from a 5% vat rate on Installations of air conditioning.  This is to encourage the cost savings of heating with air conditioning and lowering the CO2 generated. 

Also businesses can claim an ECA allowance, against the most efficient A/C units.  This can give a company about upto 30% on the full cost of installation.  This depends on the tax payable.  Please consult your accountant. 

We can also arrange lease/purchase and it is a good way to spread the payments over 2, 3 or 5 Years.  Lease/Purchase is tax efficient and is more competitive than a bank loan.
